I thought I’d make a post on why I’ve never given up on this, despite AI, social media bans and everything else.

This is based off years of trying to achieve goals and either failing or banging my head against the wall and working day-in day-out, and trying to figure out the best way to reach them.

Keep in mind, this might not work for you; all of our brains work differently and mine requires a lot of encouragement, so this might be tedious for you to follow. Thank you either way to trying to read through it though!

Part 1: Don’t just believe in yourself, believe in right now.

The most important part of a process is to keep that process going, and the best way to believe in whatever you want to believe in is to believe in this very moment.

If you think that anything can make this moment bad, it’s only it telling your brain it’s bad; you don’t have to believe in what it tells you. Then you can believe that whatever pain you experience trying to reach your goal is worth it.

Part 2: Don’t stop believing in the outcome.

The second you stop believing in the outcome, you’ve hit the metaphorical iceberg for your goal. It’s very hard to recover from this, and if you do stop believing in it, don’t drag yourself through the mud, be patient until your passion returns for it.

If you’re worried that what you’re doing to reach your goal is just a never ending grind, it probably is. But that doesn’t mean your goal will be.

Part 3: You don’t have to plan everything.

Don’t go into your goal thinking you’ll know the whole process to get to it, because there will always be something that gets in your way, or improves the journey or outcome on the way. My specific advice is to plan what you want to make, and the basic idea of how you’ll get there.

Basically, things can always change, and planning for every insignificant thing will just slow you down when you have to go back and tweak it.

Conclusion

In summary, believe in right now and the outcome, as well as the fact that you don’t have to plan everything. This is usually my personal thought process with projects, and I thought sharing it might help with any of yours.

I know this post was a bit different from usual, but I hope you enjoyed it regardless, and please leave any feedback in the comments. Have a good day!
